The drawings share common characteristics, such as repeated images juxtaposed without apparent meaning. Tang was forced to leave school after the fifth grade. Since then, he has maintained an obsessive fascination with numbers.
Like the Japanese outsider artist Matsumoto, he invented a formal language where words and numbers meet, forming an enchanting dance to create an intense and musical poetic universe.
